Spring in Electric Bloom in Cape May

Jared Radke

Cape May is such a great year-round town. While plenty of other Jersey Shore communities are still in hibernation mode, America’s oldest seaside resort is humming with activity.

Easter weekend is going to be so much fun. Egg hunt, or “Kegg” hunt? You choose!

Cape May Kiwanis are having their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 10th at 10am at Convention Hall, 714 Beach Ave., ages toddler to 10-years-old. Special prizes in each group for finding the Golden Egg!

Looking for something a little more grown up? Cold Spring Brewery is offering a really cool Easter-themed game on Saturday, April 10th, from 12-4pm. Check out the details:

“Hop on over and sign up to play! Start at the Brewery and ask a tasting room server for your answer sheet. Follow the directions to explore Historic Cold Spring Village for eggs. When you find an egg open it up and answer the question to move to your next clue. At the end, put your answers inside the Easter Kegg. One lucky winner with the correct answers will be drawn! This lucky winner will get a Free Cold Spring Brewery Growler!”

Orange Moose Carts & Adventures loves providing 6-person electric golf carts to families participating in fun and special events, especially around the holidays. Looking to rent a cart in Cape May sometime in April? Call (609) 435-8072 or email Mike the cart manager at mikeb@pedegocapemay.com.

On April 22nd, from 11-3pm, there’s an awesome Earth Day Celebration at the Cape May County Zoo. From the event description:

“The Cape May County Park and Zoo is the perfect location for this day of fun and learning. Hands-on educational exhibits, children’s amusements, live entertainment, a variety of environmental eco-shops, scavenger hunt; all which will guarantee a day of earth-friendly fun. Large tents on the center field will showcase educational exhibits. The Bandstand nearby will feature the entertainment for the day. Crafters, wares, and a food court surround the field and complete the venue.”

Sounds great! One more ongoing fun activity we would love to bring attention to is Fire Pit Friday at Willow Creek Winery. Every Friday evening from 5:30-9:30pm, live music accompanies locally sourced wine and a beautiful vineyard fire pit, all under a starlit sky.

Pedego Electric Bikes Cape May is in LOVE with our amazing “Twilight” eBike rental special. Pick a bike up from Pedego Cape May (110 Park Blvd., West Cape May, NJ) after 4pm, and return it the next day at 11am for only $50! It is truly a sensational deal, and the best way to leisurely ride to cool events like Fire Pit Friday. Cape May is the place to be; Orange Moose and Pedego Cape May are here to help you see it all in style!
