Wildwood is always humming with activity when the temperature starts to rise. From mid-June into the beginning of July, school will be out, families start heading down the shore, and the calendar of events starts filling up for the Wildwoods.

Friday Night Fireworks

Starting June 24 @ 10pm, Wildwood boardwalk launches their Friday night fireworks from Pine Ave. and the beach (Hey! Orange Moose is at the corner of Park Blvd. & Pine Ave,). There’s no better way to take in the splendor of exploding light and color, then from the open air seating of a luxury Bintelli 6-person electric cart. Cape Express Beach Blast

The always-popular Cape Express Beach Blast soccer tournament rolls into town. June 25 & 26. As featured in Sports Destination Magazine, this awesome summer Jersey Shore beach event features 5 vs. 5 beach soccer for boys and girls U-8 to U-19, plus adults. Free Family Movie Night Tuesdays

Sports Cards, Toys, Comics & Collections Show

The Sports Cards, Toys, Comics & Collectibles Show held July 1-3 will feature collectibles, memorabilia, and guest appearances, and is held at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Yoga on the Beach

Yoga is a great way to relax. Yoga on the beach? Count us in. On the Wildwood Burk Avenue beach, 9 am- 10:15 am, everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays, there is a yoga class for all levels and ages, steps from the ocean! Cape May County Lifeguard Championships

The Cape May County Lifeguard Championships are held on the beach at Rambler Road, Wildwood Crest, on July 8. Beach patrols from Cape May County compete in the annual event featuring various rowing, swimming and running competitions that showcase lifeguarding skills. NJ State BBQ Championship & Angelsea Blues Festival

Last one is a BIG one…the NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival returns July 8-10 at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues and surrounding pubs in North Wildwood. This awesome event features live cooking demonstrations, incredible food and top regional and national blues acts on the FREE main stage.
